VIKING 82 SNEAK PREVIEW
Viking's flagship, the new 82 Convertible has arrived in Florida for final outfitting, seatrials, and HMY-Viking's VIP Demos. Contact any office for more information.
FORT LAUDERDALE SHOW
The attendance was down this year, except at the Viking Yachts, Viking Sport Cruisers, and Riviera Yachts displays. With so many new models, our premium new boat lines drew tremendous attention. HMY sold a number of new boats ~ there were some bargains and special incentives that smart buyers took advantage of, and that's continuing post-show.
As always, the 25 brokerage boats in HMY's own display had a lot of activity. Some serious savings in late-model, high-end, preowned yachts.
Viking teased us with scale models of the new 82, 57 and 46 that will be shown at Vikings VIP Event, in January -- several weeks prior to the Miami Beach Show. Call any of our offices for more information.

HMY - VIKING MEGADOCK a success!
We're back from Charleston, where 79 boats competed in a terrific tournament that ended Saturday night. It wasn't the best from a fishing or weather standpoint, but the camaraderie showed what owning a boat is all about: making new friends and new memories, and having a great time.
Our HMY VIKING 60 finished in 14th Place with 3 sailfish releases. Time breaks all ties, otherwise Captain Ryan, Rhett and the boys caught and released as many as the #9 boat.
Top boat was "Cerveza" with 6 sails released. Five of them were caught by Nicole Russel, making her 1st Place Lady Angler, AND 1st Place Youth Angler. Take those kids fishing!
Jamie Zachrich's son Jason took the 1st Place Dolphin prize with his 43.5# winner, caught on the HMY Viking 54 "Reel Patience".
The 1st Place Wahoo at 72.7# went to Billy Ford on the HMY Viking 68 "Palmetto Pride". Congratulations guys!
McKenzie and her crew ran a super tournament -- They stayed in the background, but were right there when needed.
HMY and VIKING YACHTS are proud to be the Primary Sponsor of this non-profit tournament.
We'll be back!

Saturday July 12
Check the MEGADOCK website for the leaderboard after Thursday and Friday's action: cut and paste into your browser -- http://www.megadocktournament.com Thunderstorms and windy conditions kept half the fleet in port yesterday, choosing to take it as their layday (each boat fishes two of the three day tournament).
The HMY VIKING 60 released two sails on Thursday, and Captain Ryan Higgins has THE plan today, to get back on the leaderboard. Check out Charlie Clark's slideshow on this beauty at http://www.yachtpics.com/new_boats/60-102_viking/index.html This boat is available. Go to www.hmy.com for full details, specs, and equipment.
Top Wahoo is the 72.7 pounder caught Thursday on the Viking 68 "Palmetto Pride", with a circle hook and mono leader. Nice job guys!
The tournament-leading dolphin was weighed-in yesterday at 43.5, caught on "Reel Patience", Jamie Zachary's new Viking 54.
Captain Jon Z and his crew are ready to help HMY customers in the event of mechanical issues, but so far Jon's been working to keep the HMY golf cart running (it's not a Viking).
Hear live VHF broadcasts all day, but don't miss the live webcam of the weigh-ins! They'll start around 4:30 pm.
Tight lines, Mike

HMY Viking Megadock Day 1 Thurs 7/10/08
To follow the action with LIVE hookups and releases on VHF visit the link below:

Weigh-ins will be live on Webcam. HMY customers in Viking Yachts far outnumber the field. We'll see if they dominate the fishing.
HMY and Viking Yachts were acknowledged as primary sponsors at the Captain's Meeting last night, and we're proud to participate in such a well run tournament.
Gotta run, lines in the water!
